Enjoying this UPF. THough I must have skipped over this, but do we know why Brad hasn't been showing up on UPF's lately? Just wondering since its been a while since we've seen him on a live show that's not a video bombcast.

What Ben is talking about near the end about grilled cheese with mayo on the outside of the bread is legit. I actually just made a patty melt recipe last night from one of those meal boxes, and it said to put mayo on the outside of the bread to make it crispy because mayo apparently fries differently from butter.

The next new Cuphead character is called Tumblerella.

Fuuuuck I miss trackmania(Do not have any working personal computers in the house anymore). That ps4 game didn't scratch the same itch.

Pretty sure you could sleep on a trampoline, Im really bad at falling asleep even in a bed but still managed to sleep curled up on 2 chairs put next to each other when I had to once. A trampoline sounds a 100 times more comfortable than that.

Perfect grilled cheese sandwich (Or Tosti as its called here): too much Hotsauce on the inside of both halves of bread (one thats thick and consists of mostly vegetables, Im partial to amsterdams el jeffe vulcan sauce in case any dutch people see this) cheese and parsley(and maybe ham or grilled sausage) on the inside. Nothing on the out side. Put in between the grill. And then to counter the too much hotsauce, you mix some parsley and pepper with mayonnaise as dip(I only use a very small amount). Its the best.

PS: The video stops every 30 minutes on ps4 as if the video is done. I can skip to anywhere in the video but after 30 minutes of playing its just stops and goes "replay?". Not a big deal, I can still watch but this seems like a weird bug. First time this has happened btw. In the last half hour it happened like 5 times. Probably a thing on my end.

Love Ben and the site! UPF is always a great thing to look forward to on Friday nights.

@clarity: I personally feel the exact opposite. I often cant stand GBeasts stuff for more than 10 minutes(And yes I keep trying like an idiot :p), BUT i like both doing their own thing , like now, so theres something entertaining for the both of us to watch....

Dont mean to shut you down or anything, we're all free to voice our opinion. Not sure it was necessary to be so mean about it but that could very well just be you not being a native speaker of English and just doing your best to communicate with the words at your disposal like me. We're on the internet here where literally most fucking people are not native English speakers so the last thing we should assume is that every post is a person perfectly expressing what he thinks, thats just rarely going to be the case. Im pretty obsessed with language and how we use it and notice a lot of people just barely have control over their own native language (Same goes for me btw), let alone another one on top of that. People often forget using proper grammar doesn't necessarily correlate to knowing what your actually saying.

I still play Overwatch on the reg but Hammond is a terrible addition, really dislike everything about the design. Its like they just wanted to get attention and bring back lapsed players, make some headlines with "lol play a hamster, do the hamster dance", and not really think about making a character that's going to stay interesting in the long term. Plus I'm a support main and I'm really not looking forward to getting knocked around by a dumb rodent in comp next season.

That said, cheers for Ben playing it again. I always appreciate seeing OW content on the site.

@lestephan: I think his English is fine and he voiced his opinion well without being overtly nasty, but it’s nice to see some discourse happen at all. It’s alwas weird whenenever someone posts any sort of criticism you get a bunch of posts just yelling “I’m having a great time!” which doesn’t really make for an interesting or productive conversation. I do agree that ever since the site split into the two coasts there hasn’t been great balance in terms of energy and style. I personally vastly prefer one over the other, but the old school mix (which I understand can’t happen again for various life reasons) was what made this site gel so well.

Hope Giantbomb give "I'm not a monster" a go, seems quite interesting. Might even be worth getting East and West together?

can anyone tell me which trackmania this is? Whenever Jeff plays this I want to get into it but there are many different ones and he says some of them aren't good.

@humanity: I agree , thats why I wanted to elaborate but I went a bit too far as I tend to do :) I dont think @Clarity said anything overtly nasty either, just a bit harsher than necessary. You definitely managed to say basically the same thing but nicer/more constructive :P

I also want to clarify I dont dislike the guys at gbeast as individuals at all either, they all seem like a bunch of sweethearts I'd love to hang out with. Not trying to backpedal anything, still dont care much about watching them play games :).

UPF is better when you can hear people having actual conversations! Fast talking ain't my bag.

This was one of those UPFs where I enjoyed the conversations they were having way more than the games being played. I'll admit that part of it is a problem with my own tastes since I don't like watching couch co-op games nor Overwatch, but at least it's not more fighting games/brawlers! Either way, nice show! It's always good to have more Jan on the couch with them.

Yes, this is exactly how I feel! I appreciate the laidback vibe the GBWest has, like it is shown here. It also seems weird to me when people say Ben has no energy when Ben, Jeff, and Jan have a great chemistry that make them push each other to say and do more fun stuff and I feel like Jeff has been way more energized ever since Ben joined the crew. They just do it with more nuance, instead of screaming or being over the top like the East does, which it seems to be what most people want.

It all comes down to accents I think. I'm also English but say those two words completely different to how you do.

Ben knows that you looked, and it was below his waist, so he for sure gets to slug you the next time he sees you...

@johnymyko: Completely agree, I think Ben and Jeff work really well together and Ben pushes him to be a bit more laid back and goofy. It;'s a different feel, but I feel like UPF has always had a pretty laid back feel rather than be some tight, joke-a-second. high paced show.

I love the UPF's with few people. It gives the people on screen time to do their thing and isn't just a bunch of people talking over each other. Also, Ben and Jan are perfect together.
