Brad just looting materials whilst Jeff was running around in circles trying to do a corpse run gave me huge 'Dan in PUBG' vibes. Help your friends dammit!

Will this be another PUBG where the crew makes it their GOTY due to how good it is in multiplayer. I can see this game blowing the competition away given the hype, its the most liked game out right now.

This is like the friendliest game I've played with randoms of it's kind, ever hands down no qa.

It's like, done the impossible and turned steam survival fun, and then, the unthinkable, people are helping each other like some kind of Will Smith and it makes me happy to see.

I didn't even realize dungeons could spawn in the meadows.

So much chaos in this stream, love it 😁

The moment they said "how about we build a house outside the cave real quick?" I knew it was going to be 40 minutes of building up an entire base that would lead to a 10 minute dungeon excursion haha

@brad Some stuff I found helpful, especially early game:

You can ctrl click instead of dragging items (also works for dropping stuff).

Meat, grilled neck tail and raspberries are a great combo for lots of health.

Weight of weapons affects stamina e.g. a club is a better melee weapon than an axe as it’s a lot lighter.

You can choose different colours for your shields when crafting them by pressing the small style button in the shield description section.

You guys should look up how to make a fire place and chimney for your house.

I would advise upgrading your weapons at the workbench makes the burial grounds much easier and just combat in general

I'm not even 5 minutes in and had exactly this thought. Bravo!

I was waiting for the realization that the burial chamber is a tiny dungeon and the entire house building prep was totally not needed, lol. Great production, btw!

I have absolutely zero intention to ever play this game. And I have every intention to watch every piece of content GB puts out with this game.

I’m glad I watched them play before I bought the game. This is def not my type of game.

I thought Bone Master was the name of an enemy in this game. Jeff naming his character that is perfect.

@hrcules: I was the one that posted it in the chat, I found it yesterday here and tried it, totally works. One of the devs said it's a good temp solution until they can do optimization patches.

I love that you represent the true nature of mutiplayer. Group loots burial ground, everybody gets 1-2 cores. "We need 5 to build X!" 2 out of 4 never react to that, despite the grp having enough for at least 1 building (i did not check again).

@janman You know, I would lovea video that explains how the current multi-streaming set up works. Doesn't even have to be super detailed, just an overview. It's been looking awesome, lately!

Man when they were building their FOB and asking if it was overkill, it made me question if that is how people would do things in real life an realized two things:

1- It isn't too far off from permanent/semi-permanent hunting structures

2- In real life, you don't respawn in the last bed you slept in.

(It's the second part that I'm embarrassed to say I needed to figure out)

I only speak for myself, everyone can like what he likes, but... for me'e,

please no more crafting/building/survival streams.

@brad They added Vulkan support with latest patch. Edit startup parameters in steam and add "-force-vulkan"

You may have to disable GSYNC though as Vulkan doesnt seem to work great with it and may cap your FPS at like 30.

But this does increase performance over D3D renderer.

Them helping each other with their corpse runs is really nice.

This game is a whole lot like Terraria!

I hope this becomes a series. The weapon upgrades and next tiers of weapons/armor make things a lot better in terms of survivability.

@brad Hello. Not sure if you're aware about this but another fix for better performance has just been discovered. Original post about it is here. Basically, it's adding -window-mode exclusive -screen-fullscreen to the game launch options (the extra fullscreen bit is the part that's new).

Also, the Digital Foundry guys found that disabling vsync in game and then setting vsync to fast in the nvidia settings for the game improved things further. Hardly any skips for me now and my framerate is through the roof!

Jan, please consider slowing down a bit with the screen switching. It gets very distracting/disorienting when it's done multiple times a minute. Thanks.
