In answer to Ben's question at the top of the episode: The only show I listen to that regularly uses a soundboard is the What A Time to be Alive podcast, where their producer pretty much only appears using a soundboard and has been called the Bumblebee of the podcast.

Worst food thing I've ever seen was when the icebox in my family's basement got unplugged from someone bumping it. I was visiting for the weekend (this was 2009ish?) and wanted a Hot Pocket, so I opened it up and encountered the worst smell I have ever experienced. My then-14 year old brother and I pushed the thing outside, donned masks (which didn't help), and unloaded its contents into trash bags. The frozen pork loin packages had swelled up so much that they burst if you mishandled them. We left it outside to air out the stink, but it was promptly rained on and permanently ruined. To be fair, there was probably no saving it anyway.

At least once a year my brother and I remember the exact smell when we're talking, and it instantly transports us back to that day. Hope this never happens to anyone else, it sucked.

@allthedinos: Dude I know the smell. I ran a bar with a friend for a few years and when we moved into the place, one of the freezers downstairs still had about 3 large boxes of meat in it. The freezers had been off for about seven months. My buddy didnt have the stomach for it, I managed to clean it. It took a very long time, a full PPE suit, gas mask, industrial cleaning products, the whole lot. I will never, ever forget that smell.

Weirdly, for a long time afterwards my sense of smell was like weirdly heightened. I could smell everything. I remember walking through the town and smelling everything super strong, flowers and dog shit and peoples BO.
