I thought Brexit was anti-surveillance state/globalism/one world order?

My favorite part was when Vinny made the "write-ups" joke and only the Gamespot alums laughed. Also, I guess they forgot they told that story since Brad thinks it's totally an in-joke.

Seriously though, guys, there's no excuse not to comment.

They really need to stop spoiling stuff in the descriptions on the side of the videos, maybe put stuff in a spoiler tag or something. Some people like being surprised.

@spiritof: Brexit is based around the sentiment of being able to form your own national rules without being part of an european union far far away that influences policy across a wide swath of nations with the aim to strengthen the entire bloc. That could clash with national interests. Like having to send money to Greece to avert bankruptcy, or taking in refugees that ended up in Italy because that's supposed to be an EU problem, not solely an Italian problem.

As far as i know, Brexiteers are not anti-surveillance. They just want to get out of the EU. In fact, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has been quite critical of the surveillance endeavors and questioning the legality of it. Leaving the EU might lead to the UK also leaving the ECHR. They might be less interested in sharing surveillance data with EU states if Brexit happens , but i doubt they'll weaken it's internal use.

Staff complains about people being apolitical, someone makes a statement that has the slightest political implication, staff immediate gets upset.

No Skull & Bones... so let down. The games looked fine. Watchdogs looks like something I might pick up. But I want my Skull & Bones damnit!

Also, since the Skull & Bones delay, are they just gonna release it along side another two-years-in-a-row Assassin's Creed spree? A game that I thought was arguably a spin-off of Assassin's Creed Black Flag with the ship combat writ large. Or is Skull & Bones gonna be one of the two-years-in-a-row "Assassin's Creed" games?

I'm a huge Ubisoft fan I think Odyssey is one of the best and most fun games ever made. I absolutely loved the division 2 and watch dogs legion looks so good. I can't wait for breakpoint until doom and cyberpunk think that will be my game..

but what the fuck was this conference in comparison to the super good one last year? How do you go from one of the top e3 moments of all time being just dance intro last year to this bummer of a showing

All of that being said that watch dogs looks absolutely bonkers. Are they lying about any NPC and just made like 40 or 50 interconnected ones? I'm sure with AI you could train a computer to make this kind of narrative but the amount of voice work and references is insane unless they just are biting off more than they can chew.

Why is everyone a freaking curse monkey at e3 conferences this year? Practically every conference had someone yelling, "fuck!"

Also, if someone thinks "post-Brexit" means more surveillance than them being in the EU you are totally kidding yourself.

Surprised by the slightly subdued reaction to Watchdogs, I thought it looks fantastic, although I'm a bit dissapointed that, like evrything else at E3 this year, it's a 2020 game.

I wonder if everything is being announced as 2020 so a few games can be delayed to be PS5/ Scarlett Launch games?

I hope the fix Skull and Bones. Its seems like what they have been planning just isn't what people would want....which is puzzling given AC4:BF was well received.

The only AC music I've remembered was the ACII Monteriggioni theme. A nice calming piece when you returned to your home base.

I'm 99% certain that "gameplay" we saw was BS, and the game will play NOTHING like that. I'm thinking its more storymode we saw. Ian dies 100% it's just a matter of how far you get with him or not. The old lady can' fail, you have to restart. After that, you pick people do missing, minimum dialogue from the "randoms" and outside story missions that may or may not have story possible death, it won't be like this example. Quote me later.

EDIT : Ok so it's class based. Probably 1 or 2 voices for EACH and it just cycles. Most of the unique dialogue is going to be that robot UI and NPC's you don't play as that just narrate important stuff for you. It SOUNDS awesome but when you think about it, it's just a lot of FLUFF

Hahaha, wow. Ever consider the possibility that there are reasons people might be against EU membership that have nothing to do with immigration? No? Just 17mil racist bell-ends then I guess...

At the risk of being banned/post deleted, there are some interesting brexit videos on why nothing has happened yet by cgp grey on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/user/CGPGrey/videos). Look past those travel videos at the top. You might then wonder why none of these problems had solutions during the voting process...

Oh Ubisoft. Your games seem like quality, but I just can't seem to get excited for any of them ever.

The Jon Bernthal stuff where he keeps talking as if he is the character, instead of being an actor talking about the game, is super weird and off putting.
