Wow, who knew one review for one game on one console would attract so much hate and stupidity from the fanboys of the other consoles.

That being said, I must admit, I was very surprised that this game got a 5/5 for a Wii game by Jeff =). That means I probably will most definitely get this game and probably most definitely have a good time :D.

To extend my previous point, because of most of the people that replied with "Because its fun?" Yep, im sure it is. But a game like this is only fun for a while. Simply put, most people on here will get bored because its, A. Too much of the same, and B. It has very little depth.

For everyone else who picked up one because "Hey wow Wii Balance Board!!! I can do yoga and stuff!!" will put it down within the week because to them its just something to facebook about.

Yes, im generalizing, but to anyone who ever gave a damn enough to look forward, buy and play a Wii, you sit here and shake your head when reviewers give games like this good scores because quite frankly, slightly above par is the most anyone is ever going to get out of this, what im sure many of you know and agree with, the most disappointing console this decade.

I didn't, I responded to your quote exactly, you said "I seriously feel that giving this game 5 stars is asking a bit much," and I questioned who asked. Don't get mad at me, you said it, I was merely corrected you ;). Don't hate, appreciate.

You're pulling a Fox News here when you say "people say this and that and thus proves my point." I know people who think the 360 is the most disappointing console this gen, same with the PS3 as well as the Wii.
I am one of many who "looked forward, bought and played a Wii" but was happy with a lot of the games and the reviewers acknowledging that.
Anyone you say? I'm sure some (many) will think that, but not anyone, or everyone (casual or core).
But thanks for proving the rest of my previous post =).

It's an awesome minigame collection, the MotionPlus is an awesome peripheral, and anyone saying otherwise either didn't play it, or didn't play it with someone they care about, or are just jackasses.

I'm just amazed at how much the MP actually adds. I didn't think it was going to be this dramatic. I actually really enjoyed the frisbee stuff because it feels pretty damn accurate. It's cool to just wave your arm around and see your dude follow your motions almost instantly. Here's hoping Nintendo will actually make "real games" that capitalize on it.

More like, 'overly formal'. It feels impersonal, like an evening news broadcast. Not the Giantbomb I know.

That aside-the game looks fun, but I can't see myself coming back to it over and over.

Definately a must have for my Wii !! I can't even count the number of times i'v stayed up til 2am drinking playing Wii Bowling / Golf !! Those were some good times

Hallo!

Used to be a "core" gamer, now working, 3 daughters, one wife, neighbours ....

Picked up the game today, played 1 hour thus far, neighbour plus daughter visiting tonight for our weekly drink a couple of beers and play a little wii, talk a little.

Not the right time for "headshot".

Seems to me, we will spend a lot of time in the following months playing this, just like the old wii sports.

So I guess it´s a 5/5 stars. Great review. Be a little open minded.

anyway whos to say who is proffesional a who isnt, as far as I am concern there is no such thing as "board of professional game reviewers" like it exists in other professions like "anystate board of professional engineers"

just bought this for my old roommate and his new wife as a wedding present and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE it! We're were kicking a few beers playing the sword game two nights ago and it was a riot.... great package.

ey, jeff's lookin a bit slimmer, good for him if he's been gettin fitter

the sword fightings really good; my friend thought he could win just by being crazy, and you can, but if u block properly then crazy idiots LOSE!!!
Archery is probably the funnest for me.
problem with jet-ski, just like wave race; it's hella annoying when u miss a ring!!!

Just picked it up, not bad at all. Nothing groundbreaking, but it feels pretty tight. More importantly, it feels like this is what the Wii is supposed to do. I'll be enjoying this one.
