I downloaded another 2k sports game for one of those Game Pass weeklies, and I think it also did that "video, followed by still cut-ins over gameplay" kind of tutorial they're enjoying here with Gulak.

It's that time of the year again.

Kind of disappointed that the game seems sort of okay. Considering what an absolute disaster the last one was, relative competence (albeit underpinned by tremendous turnover at WWE given the roster) looks pretty boring by comparison.

Their shock and outrage over every other wrestler's rating was a little weird considering the vast majority of them seemed fine, especially when you factor in it's a video game treating wrestling as a sport and the rating is for wrestling prowess

On the one hand, I've never had any interest in playing one of these games. Flipside, it is pretty cool that a match in the game looks that much like what you'd see on television, and I'm sort of into the novelty of seeing someone like Scott Hall in his prime wrestling Finn Balor. For the first time ever, I think that I understand the appeal.

As someone who has never watched wrestling in any capacity the character roster analysis is one of the most interesting things i've ever listened to and makes me want to get into it
