Interesting time to post a QL on the East Coast. I'll assume it was recorded much earlier. Glad to see Yoshi get another game with the full Nintendo charm.

The way Jeff says "Okay, you've eaten me" as soon as the level starts is extremely funny.

This game is not single player only, there is 2 player co-op.

Do like the more 3D levels of this Yoshi game to Wooly world (which was just 2D planes really) and the targeting change

The willful mispronunciation of Mario never ceases to grate on me. I get if you have a friend from Jersey or Long Island who goes by "Mare-io", but the dang Nintendo mascot proclaims: "It's me, MAR-io!" ugh

This is like the opposite of Sekiro: Pretty sure you could take a hit from every single enemy on that first level and still survive, due to the amount of health and health pick-ups.

We need a new series "Dad's play my video games"

Very enjoyable video it's always nice to have these two get together. Lots of fun moments here and I hope we get more Bakalar quick looks.

This game seems precision-targeted at my 3-year-old, we've played the demo like a dozen times. The side goals where you have to find all the hidden cows or puppies are a lot of fun for him to help out with even if I'm the one holding the controller.

Im ready for more Quick Looks of Dads trying games before buying for kids.

This game is unbelievably gorgeous and charming. But, as much as I love 2D platformers, I just play them for fast-moving challenges and I get bored with collect-a-thons, so I'll pass on this.

(also the music is pretty grating)

I downloaded the demo for this; cute, but definitely a tad too simple for adults.

Also, I have no clue why they heck they'd put jump on A and tongue on B by default (remember kids, this is a Switch, so B is the bottom button and A is the right one), thereby confusing anyone who has ever played any other Mario game (or almost literally any platformer).

Luckily, the controls are configurable and you can change it to a sensible layout.

I'm buying this 2-dad-approved game right now. This quick look was super sweet and turned me from not even giving the time of day to the idea of this game, to completely falling in love with the look and gentleness of it.

I'm going to use it as a refuge from the violence of my usual games and from the appalling state of the "real world." Thanks Vinny and Jeff for showing me this game!
