    In 1999, Konami introduced players to the city of Silent Hill. It's your typical Midwest American town, an isolated place, filled with fog and the occasional paranormal activity. The game was a mix between the survival horror genre - established by Resident Evil, with fixed camera perspectives and horribly mutated creatures - and a H.P Lovecraft suspense novel.     Slightly inferior to it's PS2 counterpart 0

    Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams is still the same iconic game that was released on the PS2. The only things different about it are an extra ending, the side story "Born From a Wish", slightly improved graphics and lighting, and an extra weapon or 2 (I think). The only major negative I could really find was that the textures in some areas of the game would pop in and out and would sometimes get switched with textures of other things (at least that happened for me).
