    Overview

    Many video games contain a type of puzzle called a slide puzzle. There are multiple type of slide puzzles such as ones with a scrambled image that players slide one piece at a time in order to complete the image.

    Another type of slide puzzle is the "rush hour" style puzzles that have players move various shapes with the goal of opening a space for a specific piece to slide off of the board.

    Sokoban puzzles can also be considered a type of slide puzzle.
