    Overview

    These Silent Hill 4 dog-like creatures have long tongues, which they use to drain the blood of their prey. The Sniffer Dogs attack often appear in groups and charge up and towards Henry Townshend's torso. They are also capable of grabbing the player's leg while its companions attack him. The dogs represent Walter's hatred towards dogs after he was nearly bitten by one in Steve Garland's pet shop.
     

    Trivia

    The Snifer Dogs resemble the Groaners from the first Silent Hill game.
