Hey guys sorry for sounding like a complete dumbbass but I was thinking about getting socom confrontation but one of my classmates said don't get it its a waste of money b/c its multiplayer online only. I said ok  i dont care about that, but does it have a story mode, he said no. he said it online only, is this true?

Yeah, Multiplayer only... you could have easily found this info by just googling too.

If you didn't know, each game does have it's own dedicated forum.  Just search for the game, go to it's Wiki page and then click on Forum in the left column.

this game just like the past SOCOMs is all about online multi-player . even though its quality is low  SOCOM : Confrontation  has sold more than little big planet on October

Yup. I believe it says so on the cover of the game as well.

Its still a huge disappointment I'd have to say, even in the only thing it does do, the online.

It does have a story mode, you unlock it by purchasing 10 PAIN DLCs or spending $40 on themes.

yes its online only. but its still a really good game. the install is pretty short its the update that takes for ever. if your getting it wait til the trophy patch is released for it.
