I have only heard bad things about the load times and servers, but I've heard nothing about people talking about actually playing the game. I didn't play the beta so I don't know what to expect gameplay wise, so can anybody tell me how it plays? Does it play exactly like the older Socom games? Is there some advancement in the controls that can justify it as a new gen Socom?

I know somebody must have connected to a game by now...

The load times are the game. It's a game about load times.

That's probably because no one can actually play the game.

its amazing. ive been in about 9 matches (also been playing r2.)  but the loading is bs. its really easy to get in a game. matches are long. not much lag. its amazing (to me) only bad part is that every time it says. "you couldn't finish sinking to the server all rankings and scores will remain unchaged." or something like that. so in ranked games i cant rank up. which is stupid. but gameplay is great. the mic works really well. (if you get it hold L2 to talk)

Almost as helpful as your post. But, really, wouldn't he want to know if you know can't connect to any games? That's usually a big selling point.

So how would you compare it to the past Socom games?

Wait, isn't this game online only?

So loading times are a MASSIVE concern, and above which...as far as we've come in technology, you mean to tell me that they can't get the loading times down?

SOCOM, the same series that let you install SOCOM 2 onto a fucking PS2 hard drive to get shorter load times?!

    REALLY?!?!
