Soda Popinski (under that name) made his debut in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for the NES, and appeared in the Wii Punch-Out!! as well. However, the character actually first appeared in the arcade title Super Punch-Out!! under his "real name" of Vodka Drunkenski. The name change occurred due to Nintendo frowning on alcohol references at the time for their home console games. He is supposed to be of Russian descent.
