Does anybody prefer Old Snake to good ol' young Solid Snake (MGS1 and MGS2). Has he replaced your vision of Snake? Over 2 years from first seeing Old Snake, I'm still not used to seeing my boy so...old. I understand the need to make him seem so vulnerable which was the main point of MGS4, but was the mustache needed?

Just seeing Old Snake makes me feel depressed. After beating the game, I always replay using the Young Snake mask. It makes me feel more badass, you know, like Snake is supposed to be.

Snake is Snake man. He is badass from infancy until an old ripe age.

His mustache is glorious!

I'd prefer young Snake, but I do like Old Snake. When it was first announced that Snake was going to be old I was like "wtf man..." But he's still just as badass as he was when he was young so it's all good.

Yep, I love the new Snake (New Old whatever XD). He seems more human now.
But from the young Snakes, I prefer Naked Snake, or Big Boss.

It was shocking at first, but then once I found out the story behind it all, it made perfect sense. People only stay young forever in the comics.

As someone who doesn't know anything about MGS and am just judging by the pictures you posted, I'll say Old Snake looks like he can kick young snakes ass, even though he's a quarter the guys size.

I would like it if he was more badass but old snake is fine too. Sure, old snake is also one of the most badass dudes in video games but I liked young snake more.

as badass as old snake's moustache is, it makes him look really old, if he had the beard i wouldnt mind him as much, but as soon as i got the young snake mask i put that shit on for keeps. although i wish they had a solid eye young snake mask, or a raiden mask!

I think Snake looks badass for an old man and the stache works for him. I think it is the eye patch is the thing that gives the illusion of being more broken or feeble, even though its just a piece of equipment.

No. My favorite Solid Snake is MGS2 era Solid Snake. My favorite Snake though is Naked Snake.

man i used to think like you i kinda hoped the whole old age thing was a kojima trick like big boss in mgs3 but when i got to the end of mgs4 i thought it was really cool to see how snake copes with being a really old broken down dude and still being able to save the world. made him even more badass in my opinion.

I always use the young face mask. Old Snake is still badass though.
