First of all, I want to say that I am a big Sonic fan from back in the day.  Problem is, I am a big Sonic fan from back in the day.  This is not a good Sonic game.  Now this game was not targeting me as its audience.  This is definately geared towards fans of that aweful Sonic X cartoon they show on Fox.  So just so you know, I already am aware that this game wasn't made to impress people like me.  That being said, this is still not a good game.  I didn't like the story.  I didn't like the controls.  I didn't like the voice acting.  There really just isn't anything good to say about it.  Best part really was Sonic using a sword.  Even though it wasn't fun to control, it was a cool idea to have Sonic weilding like that.  The sword animations were pretty smooth and I really liked the Soul mode which slows everything down.  But the game is short and really pretty cheaply made.  Now bear in mind I didn't play any of the multiplayer.  Not my thing.  Plus I don't want my friends knowing I actually played the game.  What can I say, I keep holding out that Sonic Team will finally make the Sonic game we are all waiting for.  And like I said, dude has a blade!  But I will have to keep holding out, Sonic 4 perhaps?  Anyways, if you are a fan of the aforementioned Sonic X cartoon and are under the age of 14 you might enjoy it.  Might still being the key word there.  4 out of 10
