Not The Best, Not The Worst
For a storied company like BioWare you might expect a little better, but from a francise like the Sonic one we got something much better than their usual. There are elements in this game that actually manage to hook the player. Granted story and depth/difficulty aren't them. But the way BioWare constructed this RPG is comendable. The battle interface is really entertaining (but does border frustrating at times). The fact that you have to perform actions (tapping dots, following lines, tapping a number times, etc..) really does alot to keep you involved in what's going on. Granted that can be a bit of a problem sometimes too, like when you accidentally miss a healing spell which causes you to lose a fight.
While I can't recommend buying this game (even as a long time BioWare fan) it is worth checking out if you can rent or borrow it.
