    Overview

    Sonic Runners Adventure is a free-to-play side-scrolling endless runner platformer developed and released by Gameloft (in conjunction with Sega) for iOS and Android devices on December 19, 2017.

    A sequel to the discontinued 2015 game Sonic Runners, Sonic Runners Adventure refines the original game's "endless runner" formula while adding a new story and new game modes.

    Characters

    The game includes nine playable characters, with only Sonic available from the start. The rest of Team Hero are unlocked by unlocking chapters, while the other six characters are unlocked both by unlocking chapters and spending in-game currency.

    Like the original Sonic Runners, each character has one of three ability types: Speed (allowing players to perform an extra mid-air jump), Fly (allowing players to float mid-air), and Power (allowing players to perform a dash attack).
