The trailer i saw of this game got me so excited about it. the way you change lanes with the bumper buttons, the sense of speed, the crazy loops. it looks like there will finally be a good 3D sonic game.
Then i remembered the last sonic game on 360...
I don't know whether to be excited or worried.

    what is you opinion?

The day game play looks so much fun, but the night game play just looks bad.

The only good Sonic games you're ever going to get are the 2D ones on the DS. This might look pretty, but it won't be much better than the last outing.

Both of these guys have a point. However, I am not going to judge the game yet until the demo and review are released.

I'm really excited by the Sonic Unleashed. The daytime stages look fantastic! I'm quite sure about the werehog bits, but time will tell.

The first one, and like the past 15 sonic games?

I'm not getting my hopes up.

This game looks alright. The Werehog parts look like garbage, but the regular hedgehog looks nice.

I really hope they fix the load screens. That was my major problem with Sonic the Hedgehog. There was no reason for half of them.

The reason the newer 3d & 2d Sonic games fail is because they emphasize basically running in a straight line as fast as possible, like watching other people ride a rollercoaster.  The old Sonic games had a very well paced mix of speed, platforming, and combat.  The newer ones make terrible design decisions like splitting up those elements into separate levels, or even separate characters.  This one looks no different.  Just because they added QTE's doesn't mean it's going to be any less glitchy, broken, poorly designed, or wrought with unneccessary melodrama as the last decade of Sonic games.

The graphics were awesome ( sure Sega will use the engine for other Better games)
But the game play was as dull as previous 3D sonics... so this is a No No for me :(
I wish we ( Ps3 owners) could get the classic 2d sonic games as downlables ;(
