    Soulcalibur IV

Game » consists of 14 releases. Released Jul 29, 2008

The fifth installment in Namco's Soul series of weapon-based fighting games, Soulcalibur IV is the first to be released on seventh-generation consoles and the first online entry in the series. It's known for its use of Star Wars characters as guest fighters.

I've decided to write a complete FAQ/Movelist for this game (PS3)

Is there anything you guys want in it specifically? I'll have the following for sure:

    • Movelist
    • Honors
    • ToLS Walkthrough
    • Equipment List

It'll be hosted on GameFAQs for anyone that's interested.

Maybe a little late to start now, but if you've already done most of the leg work.

I dunno about movelists. All characters have several dozen and I'm not sure how beneficial it is to the player when you can pause the game and check it yourself at any time in the game. Honors on the other hand could be useful, if you include how to get them too. ToLS Walkthrough is a given, a weapon and accessories list would be a good addition too.

Movelists are just a standard when writing a FAQ for a fighting game.

Maybe, but it's not really that useful or necessary. Maybe more in-depth about useful moves would be better. Again, the move list is in the pause menu and I've read plenty of good FAQs without move lists.

The movelist in the pause menu isn't complete though. I know about 5 Voldo attacks alone that aren't included in it. Yoshimitsu has a variety of unlisted attacks as well. I'm 100% sure there are other characters similar.

If they listed every possible combo in that start menu there would be hundreds of entries.

Just go on calibur forums or 8wayrun and look at the combo threads there.

Serious SC players won't be reading an FAQ on gameFAQs.
