Spark is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up game, centered around a combination-based shooting system. The player has 4 bullets they can fire that vary in speed and power. Combining the bullets with each other causes a reaction and fires a different bullet pattern. These reactions can be mixed, matched, and combined to make tons of different bullet combinations.
The game is an arcade style and has 3 different game modes. In each mode, the player starts from the beginning, and no progress is saved throughout the game. The goal is to progress as far possible and, in turn, score the highest possible score in order to be the highest rank on the leaderboards.
Conquest is about shooting and killing everything on the screen, including the bosses.
Survival is all about surviving as long as possible.
Puzzles are a time trial where the player races against time to solve as many puzzles as possible.
