Hey kinda had an idea to start a GiantBomb clan but I guess I'd need to know if anyone is.

Is Anyone Else Playing This?
I played it for quite a while once it was on steam. At a certain point you hit a wall. I could deal with being limited in daily activities by the amount of free energy. Stopped me from just playing it all the time. When it came to crafting, getting the leveled gear I needed just to progress forced me to get crystal energy, which I would have had to buy with real money or grind for almost 10 hours just to have enough in game currency for half of it. So I stopped playing. It was free to play, I enjoyed my time with it, but I am not going to micro-transact temporary access to an already limited game.
Fun though.
I just said "fuck that game" two days ago. It was actually quite fun but what is needed to advance in that game makes it a fucking horrible grind. I spent so much time in Tier 2 and finally got the items for Tier 3, I went into this new area already heavily exhausted from all the grinding only to find out that the third Tier has the same level layouts with slightly different enemies. I'm not playing that game again.
It should noted that I played the game for over 24 hours and had fun for a good 18 of those.
Bugged and terribly flawed game. I came, got my TF2 hat and left.About how long does it take to unlock the TF2 hat?
I've played over 130 hours according to Steam. I really like it but I've pretty much exhausted all the content. I've got multiple sets of all 5 star items. Just not a whole lot left for me to do.
in tier 3 and have clocked 83 hours according to steam. i mostly play with my girlfriend and i don't mind the energy cost to play. it's kind of a self imposed time limit in the game, makes you only play an hour a day or so. you do hit that wall we're you're in tier 2 for a while earning money to craft better items and while the level layouts don't really change dramatically, enemy types do and keep fighting interesting. oh and some of that time is waiting around the auction house and keeping my client open around that time.
I've played it for 18 hours. I got to a point where I couldn't level up anything without paying any money. You should play a better Free to Play game like Team Fortress 2 or League of Legends.
All three games are completely different genres. Also, at no point do you have to spend any money ever.I've played it for 18 hours. I got to a point where I couldn't level up anything without paying any money. You should play a better Free to Play game like Team Fortress 2 or League of Legends.

@ajamafalous: Is it a game that you'd recommended to other people you know, or just something you played a lot and enjoyed? I have a Steam friend that has clocked close to 300 hours according to his profile, and he really likes it, but has never once recommended it to anyone.Yeah, absolutely. I've recommended it to all my friends that play games. It's free to try, so why the hell not, right?
I played it for a little bit but I really didn't party up with other people and got bored going into T3. I can go back if this becomes a thing.
I played it right up to where you get the TF2 hat. It seems cool as a free game if you're like 12. The prices for the extra content though are prohibitively expensive; almost surprisingly so. Even as someone who easily drops $100 per week on gaming, those prices just look absurd. $25 for a pack of stuff? Those don't exactly count as "micro"transactions.
I can see where someone strapped for cash could get some enjoyment out of it though. I just think there are far better free games, and tons of super cheap games instead.
