Oh my god! Someone has cut the brakes on Thursday Night Throwdown, and now we couldn't stop it if we wanted to!
But we don't want to.
No, the online multiplayer mayhem will continue unabated this week as we strap in for some seriously absurd car-nage [EDITOR'S NOTE: ugh.] in Split/Second for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. If you like car crashes and incredibly unnecessary collateral damage.. well, first off, congratulations, you've got impeccable taste and you're awesome. But also, consider yourself personally invited to come do some damage with us!
To RSVP to our car-crashing party--which, I swear, isn't going to devolve into a David Cronenberg movie--just send a friend request to GBTNT on either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. If you'd rather just watch, that's cool too! Whatever gets you there, man. We'll have a live video stream to follow the action, as well as a chat room full of like-minded hooligans, and we'll be taking your questions and comments on the air.
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who joined us for all the fiery-bus-flinging fun. If you missed it, you can check out the archived version below.

Damn time differences, but if their doing Split/Second for TNT I hope that don't mean no Blur TNT. I think that would be amazingly awesome. Having said that, there needs to be a Red Dead Redemption TNT.
So many TNT's!
Just a suggestion Ryan, but maybe you should just post the times for all the other time zones besides just your own. Seeing as how TNT is at the same time every week, it..yknow....makes sense. and avoids people bitching and moaning about what time it will be for them (though probably not)

http://www.ustream.tv/user/giantbomb" wheres the link to there stream "
" @Kibblez said:Would it really though? copy and pasting a few extra times zones is hardly difficult." Besides, like you said, this happens the same time every week. They only really have to look up what time it is to them the one time and write it down or something if they can't remember it.
Split/Second? Awesome. I've got both Skate 3 and Split/Second coming in the mail, and those games are both of the games they did TNT's for recently. They have to do a Battlefield Bad Company 2 TNT tho. that would be awesome.
a) if they're too dumb to click the damn link Ryan provided, then they aren't really invited to watch the TNT anyway" Just a suggestion Ryan, but maybe you should just post the times for all the other time zones besides just your own. b) since it has been at the same time every week for a month now, if people haven't figured it out, they are also too dumb to watch
Awesome, this will be fun to watch. I'm very curious about this game and had a lot of fun playing the demo.
" Throwin in my votes. Uncharted 2 and Red Dead Redemption need some TNT'S "there are too many new games coming out to have a uncharted 2 TNT, for now at least.
Blur and UFC 2010 next week, then we have E4 mid june, Transformers War For Cybertron in late june after E3, the SSF4 tournament mode dlc comes out late june aswell which they said they wanted to do a TNT for, etc
MUST pick up this game before my brain melts from awesomeness. Unfortunately RDR (PS3 ver) has me drooling all over my shirts.
Would have made slightly more sense to write the times in UTC as well I guess... Then people could just add their own time zone modifier to it rather then having to look up what PDT is first. If anyone's wondering, PDT is currently -7 hours and UTC for that time is is 23:00 / 11P.
And for all my progressive dogs on Internet time, that's @000.beats.
Only problem I got with the timezone issue is that .. the "Let me google it for you site" is not telling me what the Pacific Daylight Time actually is, there is nothing named that. There is Pacific Time and lots of other similar things. But how am I supposed to know which one is the correct one? I dunno, so I gambled and picked on of em, according to that.. the show is up at 01:00
I was hoping for Red Dead, but I really want to see this game in action so I really couldn't care less.
----------
On topic: I don't have Split/Second, but this should be a very entertaining TNT! I hope next week is RDR, I would love to get some of that going on.
