How do you think Splosion man recovers his explosion powers so fast when he touches the ground?
I think it has something to do with the vents on the floor, they probably cool him off fast and make him ready for more splodin´
I guess I will have to wait until the novel comes out to learn more about this.

He regains his 'Splodes thought friction, like Pie said, but also when exploding bombs and chemicals.
 
You may also notice that the levels are all surrounded by what appears to be lava streams.
 
Only thing that really negates this is the final boss. Maybe 'Splosion Man is allergic to grease.

It could be he has compressed nuclea r(or other type of) energy in a similer way to sun which constantly has nuclear explosions on its "surface" to keep it powered. Or it could be magic?

BTW, Friction is out, since he regains his 'splosion-ness while standing still after landing.  Although I guess he still hops around a bunch.....

Sorry, but he doesn't have explosion powers.
