3D Platformers are games where movement, traversal and mainly jumping is the core of the gameplay. They are a tridimensional equivalent of 2D platformer one of the most popular video game genres in the third and fourth generation of video game consoles.
Achievements are extra challenges added into video games that sometimes carry a point value or unlock bonus material, and are sometimes solely for bragging rights.
A practitioner of alchemy; the brewing and making of substances with unusual properties.
In game terms alchemy is typically an item creation system. Centuries ago it was the pursuit of changing normal metals into gold, unsuccessfully.

Bipedal Digitigrades stand, walk or run with its toes touching the ground and the rest of its foot lifted, creating a the legs to bow backwards and then forwards, while also standing upright like a human being would. This is popularly seen in anthropomorphic animal characters, aliens or monsters, Werewolves being a prime example. Unguligrades are similar but instead of toes, they have hooves.
Bonus levels, rounds, or stages give players a chance to gain extra points, powerups, or lives. Occasionally bonus stages will play completely different than the rest of the game, like as a slot machine or pinball minigame.
Bosses are enemies that fight you at the end of a level or at a significant point in the story.
A boss fight is a culminating challenge that pits the player against one or more enemies representing a greater threat and/or difficulty than those previously faced. These scenarios typically feature unique antagonists.
A boxer is someone who participates in the sport of boxing.
Some creatures don't need guns or swords to hurt you. Instead they pack a punch with some kind of deadly breath attack, be it flaming, poisonous, radioactive, or just plain bad!
Some game characters just cannot swim. This usually means automatic death as soon as they hit the water.

Usually seen in 3D platformers, these games ask you to collect certain objects to open up additional levels.
The concept of requiring the player to collect large amounts of multiple tokens to progress in the game, learn new abilities, unlock secrets or optional content, etc. It was often implemented in the early platformers of the N64 & Playstation era.
