I competed in just about every worthwhile event last night, including some I had to pay big bucks to enter. After getting gold in all but one of them, I went to bed with 3 hours left before about five of them ended. In total, because of entry fees, I was down roughly 2 million, but if the standings stayed the way they were, my winnings should be somewhere around 5 million. Excited to see just how much money I'd made while asleep, I turned on the game quickly before heading off to work to find...nothing. All the events had ended, my credit count was the same, as was my total winnings in global events, and the game has kept no record of my having entered any event which ended between the time I went to sleep and the time I woke up. Seriously? This is fucked up. Now I've wasted almost all of my money, a lot of effort getting the top spots in those events, with absolutely nothing to show for it. Has anyone else encountered something like this? I like global events, but I don't think I'll be competing in another one anytime soon.

The EA servers were up and down a LOT last night. Kept getting disconnted... This could have something to do with it, can't say that anything like this is happened to me though and I would be very annoyed and angry if it did :(

Either way this sucks hard! Feel bad for you man hope it somehow sorts itself out.

@Shadow: It seems quite common to get a surge of players trying an event when an event has less than 20 minutes or so to go. Did you just lose your place on the leaderboards?

Not a chance. All my scores were very close to platinum, and one was a platinum run.

the servers have been a mess the last few days. Also if the servers are down when you login, the game simply plays like normal(minus the ability to compete in global challenges) until the next time you log in and the servers are up.

aaaaand it happened again. My total global event winnings are up to 24 million according to that main menu, but I haven't gotten even half of that yet. Fuck it, I'm just going to get all gold in explore mode. I've got my level 10 Eddie with big head and hands. What do I even need money for?
