After you beat the first Mars mission (zombie boarders), fly to Earth, then back to Mars. The mission will restart, but instead of a countdown timer the goal is to destroy the zombie ship.
So park your crew in the corner of a room and kill the endless waves of zombies until you've reached max level, then destroy the ship.
