...then I hit act 2 of the Agent storyline. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Dec 20, 2011
Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively-multiplayer role-playing game set 300 years after the events of BioWare's Knights of the Old Republic series, but still approximately 3,600 years before the events of the films.
I thought the LS Sith Warrior storyline was great...
So far, Most Outstanding Stories for me: Agent and Bounty Hunter.
Most dull storylines for me: Jedi Consular (so far, just finished all the healings), Smuggler after you hit Taris(Apparently when the lady who wrote a lot of DA2 took over, I found out).
The Smuggler is the most disappointing part, as the Prologue, also known as "WHERE IS MY SHIP: The Game" is pretty fantastic.
Stuff I'm not far enough into that look like it could be awesome: Trooper. After completion of the prologue, it feels like it's about to become Mass Effect.
Story that feels like Bioware has a slight bias for: Jedi Knight. You're accidentally the most important Jedi ever.
@CL60: That seems accurate.
BH and IA feel like the other most fleshed out "Full game" stories out of all of the classes I've tried so far.
I just hope that JC picks up, because the class is good fun.
Yeah the Agent story gets crazy as soon as Act 2 starts. I actually just got to the holy shit moment at the start of it when I decided to start a new Sith Warrior on an impulse. Now my Warrior is further along than the Agent, but I want to get back to the Agent later because I'm still really curious what will happen.
Damnit, really? I just got to Taris and the Smuggler story is fucking leagues better than the Jedi Knight story through Act 1.
I'm really enjoying the Sith Inquisitor class I'm playing. It's just a ton of fun to be able to kill people with my lightning if they annoy me.
Reading all of this and other topics I feel the need to reroll Bounty Hunter or Agent soon.
Consular was a tad...well, boring.
The first act was great but the entire children of the empire arc was so bleh.
Where's the good ole arch villian? The big bad? Stupid second in commands all the time.
Give us a Saren!
I'm very early on in the stories, but I too feel like the Imperial Agent has been the most dense with story. Its fantastic. I'm sort of wondering why all the stories weren't like this. I don't think the Agent story is necessarily so completely unique that this type of storytelling would not have worked for the other classes.

Bounty Hunter? Really? The whole first chapter is "get target, go to planet, find target, kill them" over and over. A few of the twists during that were okay but it seemed very average. Actually looking to try something else now.
@ajamafalous:
Well, It's just my opinion, but yeah, the character feels totally different going through Taris. The type of responses and general tone seems much poorer.
@wemibelec90: I think I like Bounty Hunter not because The Great Hunt itself is an intriguing storyline, but because the responses/actions during the hunts themselves are pretty great. Even early on, telling the Imperial Noble to piss off, repeatedly, is pretty damn hilarious. On top of that, the "Building towards revenge" of the storyline is pretty spot on for most bounty hunter style stories.
That's just me, though.
@Eujin: I guess I can see that. I haven't played any other class yet so maybe the Bounty Hunter really is that much better than the rest. I wasn't really expecting much more than a loose story to tie the bounties together and it isn't much more than that. It also didn't help that some of the "twists" for the targets were so damn obvious...
God I'm still in chapter 1 on my first character, after 75 hours. Am I fucking slow or what ?
I really want to see all those stories but it's gonna take me years at this rate...
