I was looking at the videos for the different classes and I was starting to get the feeling that everyone was just going to be a Jedi.  I'll probably play one because the other classes don't interest me much, except for a smuggler if I can actually transport goods across the galaxy and it's not boring as hell.  My main point was, I can't see why anyone would want to play another class and if 90% of players are Jedi that might cause a problem.  
 
I was wondering who here wants to play as a non-force sensitive character?

Well I'll probably play a Jedi / Sith because, like you, I find myself uninterested in the other classes' abilities and play-styles.

I don't know if I'll actually be playing this game but if I did I almost certainly would not be playing a Jedi, with my good guy character at least.  A badass Sith is very appealing though.

Yah, but not many people are going to want to get multiple characters to high levels.  That'd be quite a time commitment. "

Bounty Hunter for me. I might make a Sith Warrior too, but I'm afraid they'll be overplayed by the 12 year old anime crowd. 

Bounty hunter/Jedi for my friends, I'll probably be a Jedi as well. 

I wish there was a droid class. Being able to upgrade yourself would be really neat.

I want to be a smuggler, if it's like other RPG's, that's the money making class.

I'm most likely going to play as a smuggler, and two of my friends are going to play troopers, so it isn't going to be all jedi's. Ideally I'm going to name my character Olos Nah just to piss the die-hard fans off.
However I can definitly see that overpopulation is going to be an issue.

I'm much more interested in the Trooper/Bounter Hunter classes. I will probably also roll a Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior depending on how many character slots they give me.

Oh yeah. I imagine Jedi/Sith will freaking dominate the servers during the first few...years. Then eventually the other classes will become noticable just because people are bored of the Jedi/Sith

I'm not sure.  I think they created the Jedi Knight/Consular and the Sith Warrior/Inquisitor with the idea that a lot of people would be playing Force-using classes in mind.  It lets people swing around their lightsabers while still being fully capable of filling out a variety of important MMO-centric roles. 

Definately gonna go with female Twi'lek Sith Inquisitor

While I imagine Force-Sensitive characters (Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor) will outnumber the other classes - I feel like the ones that get the least love are the Trooper on the Republic side and Imperial Agent on the Sith side. The other two classes, Bounty Hunter and Smuggler, have a strong backing by those who have their own fantasy of being the 'Boba Fett' or 'Han' or... just want to be that rugged bad-ass/sneaky son-of-a-bitch. 
 
I don't think percentages of 90% are a real worry, there's a variety of people out there who want to either fufill their Fett or Solo fantasy as well as people who simply want to be "in demand" and play those classes that are not as popular. As far as PvE - between Companions and the duel roles each class can play (via Advancement) - I'm sure the game will be fine. Raids and PvP may be highly improved with a mixed group, though, of folks specialized in what they do best.

If I was going to buy this game, I would first try out Bounty Hunter.

Not everyone can be a beautiful and unique snowflake, but you can be an average, commonplace snowflake with frikkin lightsabers.

First character will be a trooper.

Smuggler.

Jedi are so lame. How many were taken out by boring ass clone troopers in Revenge of the Turd? I will be shooting first as a smuggler.
