    So was is confirmed and anything hinted about a monthly or even yearly fee for the game? I really hope there isn't a fee unless its already been confirmed. If they haven't said anything about it what do you guys think about a fee? Yes or no and how much if yes. I'm hoping its only like $5 a month if there is one

    There is no way its gonna be 5 bucks a month. Chances are it might be around the same as WoW.  
     
    And yes. I think there should be a Fee. How are they gonna make money? WoW makes most of its money from its monthly fee

    It's an MMORPG and like all MMORPGs, it will have a monthly fee of at least $15 US per month, where you can pay monthly or quarterly.

    well yeah but i was HOPING lol that it would be like guild wars but you guys are right, this is a huge title and it most likely will be around wows sub fee. thanks

    $15 USD a month is standard for MMOs. I personally hope they have a life time sub......I would probably get it. MMOs need a steady stream of income for matainence and for development of the game, If they provide a good game, ill be there for a good while.

    not all mmorpg have a monthly fee alot are free they just have microtransaction and those who dont dont all cost atleast 15 bones just wanted to clear that up.
    but 5 bucks is highly unlikely and if its get microtransactioned its properly gonna be shit since they allways find a way to fuck that up

    I agree with everyone, they are probably planning on making this their regular source of income, like WoW is for blizzard. So there is no way it's going to be something meager as 5 bucks.

    I don't understand where you're coming from with this? This is Biowares first multiplayer game.
     
    Anyways, Guild Wars isn't really an MMORPG.

    I meant that an mmo of a famous developer like Bioware, and with the high production values of this one, couldn't be free to play online.

    I would do a lifetime sub too, how much was the star trek one? anyone remember?
     
    seems like if they know its going to be popular they won't give this option though as they would be canabalising their future income...  boooo
