So is your job at Giant Bomb pretty much permanent at this point or are you going back to school at some point?
@Matt I'm getting an error that says the account is generating too much traffic and has been temporarily disabled.

same for me.
Yup yup
Man, the expertise conversation drove me nuts. I have a 50 battlemaster mercenary and a 24 powertech. My powertech is fully geared in the blue pvp gear available for him. My mercenary ofc has full t2 epic, which gives him about +10% bonus damage from expertise, yet the same exact abilities does 50+% more damage in PvP (even the ones that powertechs are supposed to be better at). It's not expertise that's the problem, it's the fact that the 50s have tier 2-3 epic gear vs poorly bolstered blue/green gear.
This is keeping me from writing an essay, but damn is it interesting. I've gotta say though you guys are comparing SWTOR to WoW a lot as of now. I think you all forgot that WoW has so much more experience and a MASSIVE fan base. I'm going to give this game some time to grow, and I suggest you three should do the same. Currently I've soloed my way to 20 with my Jedi Sentinel and I do enjoy it. I'm sure I would enjoy it more if I had a constant group to play with, but of course I picked an almost empty server.
Awesome podcast really like to hear the alternate views on both a higher levels and a low level. Even if it's not Dave's type of RPG it's good to hear his opinion on it.
I am curious about the complaints that it's taking a month to patch to fix a serious bug. That seems like a really short time to get a patch out compared to other MMO launches or even non-MMO launches. I think PS3 players are still waiting for fixes to game breaking bugs in Skyrim.

Huh cool, just got home from work and there is a slew of quality content to go through. I think I'll start off with this while I play some Skyrim. Thanks dudes!

Are there spoilers about companions/story beats in there?
Kessler does say some spoilers of the stuff for the sith Inquisitor . I would not be surprised if there are more I just didn't pick them up.
I can't believe you guys enjoy Hutt Ball. As a sniper who needs to sit in place to use his best abilities (less so as lethality spec) the constant movement back and forth drives me insane. Also, we don't even have a full sniper set of pvp gear, and operatives get two full sets! and the sniper rifle itself is part of the operative set! blargh, I have no interest in PVE stuff, but it's so hard to love the PVP stuff. :(
It was rather funny when the cast got to the bit about characters not looking their class type. The reason for that ultimately has to do with how customizable armor is. Orange armor lets you customize every single stat it gives your character, making it feasible to turn a pair of aim and end heavy trooper armor with shield absorption rate bonuses into a set of str and end with critical and power bonuses for jedi guardians. That makes any notion of having a specific look for a class type impossible to do.
It also warrants mentioning that this entire thing is a fucked if they do, fucked if they don't kind of thing for SWTOR. Gabe over at Penny Arcade mentioned that his greatest criticism of the game, albeit a small one in the grand scope of things, is how he can't just have brown and gray robes on his character at all times, an idea that runs completely counter to what Dave wanted. The crazy amount of modifications you can give a piece of armor is the best way the game can appease both sides.
