    I played so much of Battlefront 1. Probably close to a 100 hours, and I would gladly still go back.

    This is hard for me to answer as all Star Wars games are products of their times (except for mediocre or bad ones) 
     
    For instance: Dark Forces was just a mediocre FPS but Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight was great at the time because it introduced force powers and light saber combat (and even had a slight karma type system based on the force powers you most used). If you played Dark Forces 2 now, though, you may not see the appeal. The graphics show its age, the gameplay is old, and ya you can tell when it was made. When it was made, though, that game was amazing. 
     
    All star wars games are like this so I have a hard time saying which is my favorite as generally the newer ones are just upgrades to the older ones and tend to be better..  Last Star Wars Game I liked alot was the first Force Unleashed (which is really just the logical evolution of the Jedi Knight series). Whenever SW:TOR comes out, if its as good as expected, it will probably be my new favorite.

    @DerekDanahy: Battlefront 1 had better gameplay than 2, the only thing that made BF2 better was the "playable heroes"

    I'm sorry for not liking Bioware's Kotor, But Jedi Academy and Battlefront II were most epic for me, I also Enjoyed the first Force Unleashed (That is until I play the sequel), it's Story is plain epic.

    best star wars game is jedi knight: jedi outcast hands down!   

    edit: didn't play dark forces though , from what i've heard that one was also super fantastic  
    -jedi academy wasn't as good storywise but made up for it with a shitload of mods 
    also jedi academy had rosh. fuck rosh!

    Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, runners up are KOTOR and Rogue Squadron.
     
    The Force Unleashed was the biggest disappointment ever. Who knew that a couple of "force resistant" stormtroopers were enough to take down an incredibly powerful jedi? Seems the empire could have saved itself all the trouble of having loose cannons like Darth Vader running amok.

    what a weird question this is, Kotor of course ( playing it right now on my old mac, it is very awesome in a just as good or maybe even better then Mass effect way). 
    but maybe rpg is not your style then battlefront

    Either Rogue Squadron or KOTOR. Both of those games are sooo good. I never got to play X-Wing or Tie Fighter so I might pick them over that N64 game if I had played them.
