*sigh* it's times like these when I wish my Mac was capable enough to run a game like Starcraft 2... let alone starcraft 1

Hopefully console developers follow Blizzard's and Valve's example and provide content for their supporters.  But who am I kidding, XBL wouldn't even let Valve be Valve.

Blizzard has always been very aware of what it's community wants. A lot of the big changes in WoW have been player driven. So feature requests seem like a natural extension of that. Keep in mind, they are STILL patching Diablo and Warcraft 3. I look forward to a new Starcraft 2 update V3.5.1.779 sometime in 2020.

I think it's safe to say that SC2 will change a lot over it's lifetime.

I hope they roll out some kind of achievement api that giantbomb can use.

I would like to have the option of changing my name.

I like to see more custom maps being built by the community but wishes Blizzard will not add pricing in those custom maps because I don't think a custom map or mod should warrant any pricing

I'm so glad shared replays are coming. They are going to add clan support sometime in the future as well.

Maybe it's just me but I could never get into Blizzard games. I've always been a Sims fan. No hate, I just couldn't.

It's nice to see that Blizzard is just as nefariously dedicated to keeping its fanbase loyal as Valve.

As long as there are no changes to the rudimentary set-up of the units, I think they can get away with a lot, experimentation-wise.

Blizzard have always been good with their fans. Glad their keeping it up.

They really need to look at the UMS forums.  Those people are going crazy.

they are definitely going to squeeze as much as they can from the lifecycle of the game.  listening to the community for research is just one of many things they can do.  can't wait for my new vid card to show up.

Debating building a PC just so I can play this, only hearing good things.

 A lot of their restrictions seems - quite frankly - arbitrary. It'll be interesting to see if Blizzard's pattern and history of support (see: Diablo II) continues post Activision merger.    

I'd like an online mode where my forces are controlled by AI... it's the only way I'd stand a chance... by not actually playing... at all...

If they start doing content patches for StarCraft II when do they start asking for a subscription or when do you question your WoW subscription?    

Cool to see Blizzard continue to support StarCraft II.

This isn't really that big of a surprise since they do this already but it is nice to hear. The only thing that I'd want would be more challenges, possibly LAN support but that's not a biggie, and maybe a better offline mode because, like steam, I would like to be able to at least get the achievements I earn while offline though not necessarily have them unlock while offline.

With the amount of changes they make to WoW based on user input I see that this would be the way for SC2 as well.

This is one of those games that sounds very very cool, but I'm still not sure I want to buy. Never having really played an RTS before makes me very wary.  Oh well.

I haven't even touched the challenges or multiplayer (since the beta) yet. Glad to hear they may add more to a really fun game.

This is just because the game is new, after a few weeks as people play more and more the matchmaking and division system will really kick in and you should be matched against people that are closer to your level of ability.   In regards to feature requests; personally I think the custom map system needs the most work right now. The biggest problems are users can only upload 5 maps at once and only to the region their account is associated with. If you're map isn't on the (incredibly small) list of popular maps the only way to find it is to search for the name - so any new maps coming out are basically impossible to find without any prior knowledge of its existence from looking at a website or something. Whole thing needs a total overhaul if you ask me... "

Starcraft 2 is perfect as it is. More features wouldn't hurt, I guess..
