It's time for the next EU King of the Hill!
We're gonna have a good time, play some games against one another. You're welcome to join in no matter your skill level. You can hang around and chat with the other Giant Bombers and watch some games, or just get together to play some custom games/ladder together. We're also probably gonna play some custom games/draw dicks later on in the evening, so be sure to stick around for that.
King of the hill?
King of the hill means that there will be a match played at the start of the event, after which the winner will play the next challenger in line. The winner keeps playing until he is defeated, after which the player who defeated him replaces him as the "king".Moztacular regularly hosts King of the Hill events and streams them on his channel, so if you're still confused, check those out.
It's just gonna be a casual get together for everyone and afterwards, we'll probably play some fun custom games. It's good practice for the tournament (I've got it planned for April 9th)) and people can give you feedback on your play if you want it.
Rules:
Pretty simple really, it's just a 1v1 game played in a best-of-1 format. The winner keeps playing until he is defeated by a challenger in line. Whoever wins the most matches(or remains undefeated for the entire time) is declared the winner. The challenger has the decision on which map to pick and in order to make it interesting I'm allowing the GSL maps to be picked.
How do i join?
Just join the 'giantbomb' channel on the EU Battlenet server on Saturday April 2nd 20:00 CEST and we'll determine the starting players from there. It might be good to post here that you're interested in joining though, so I have an idea on how many are interested to participate. Hope to see you on saturday!
