Very relaxed and laid back feel.  Players that are in the tournament are taking turns casting the games they aren't playing.  Lot of big names in it too.

I guess Dimaga didn't beat Nestea in the World Championships.  Or that the Foreigner team nearly won the team game.

@shinigami420: HuK won Dreamhack summer which was full of koreans. Jinro was 3rd in the GSL twice. Those people aren't bad players... It is more difficult to beat someone on their home turf though, which is why foreigners haven't won the GSL yet and koreans sometimes underperform in European/US championships.

@shinigami420: This tournament is to PAX what the GSL is to E3. It just more laid back and fun to watch for some people. The players get to have more fun as well. It doesn't have to be head-to-head against the GSL.

@raiz265: Luuucky!  I've always wanted to meet some of them, especially Tyler, he's such a boss.  I've talked to some of them on chatrooms for random tournaments (Tyler, Kiwi, TT1, a few ROOT guys before they disbanded), and have played custom games with JP on a couple occasions (Blood Pressure Marathon LOL) but never seen them in person.  That would be so cool.

I've watched what I can of HSC, and it has been awesome, but stupid work and school have only allowed me to watch a few hours of it.  It is a lot of fun to watch though.

If MLG came to Canada, I would go, but they probably won't unless it's Toronto, because everything goes there.

On the topic of foreigners vs Koreans, it can depend.  There are some foreigners much better but also some much worse.  Sheth (who already has won convincingly in the Team League and is in Code A)and GosiTerran (Now SixjaxMajor, watch his stream, he's insane) could stomp Koreans.  GosiTerran had Gosi in his name for a reason (Gosi is a Korean Clan, he was a practice partner with a number of Korean pros and  supposedly considered going pro in Korea).  There's videos and replays of him stomping Koreans, and Day9 when he was in his prime a few years back.  If Major gets as good at SC2 as he was at SC1 he will probably be the top NA player.  Even when ROOT was first teaching him the fundamentals of SC2 he was terrifying and back then he knew nothing about the game but instead played at SC1 speed, which is overkill for SC2.
