Just wanted to let you all know that even if you don't buy this game for the main draw (Multiplayer), the Single Player is totally fantastic.

SC2 SP
" The single player can have you playing for quite some time. Unfortunately the ending leaves much to be desired. "This...
" The singleplayer was amazing. The missions were all so good and all so varied. The ending left no evidence of where Heart Of The Swarm is going though, "
[spoilers]Game 2: Hybrids take control of the Swarm and wreck shit; Game 3 Protoss and Terrans (but primarily Protoss) fuck shit up to save the universe[/spoilers]
It does say that the Zerg were reasonable and intelligent, but that some mysterious force caused them to attempt to obliterate the Protoss. The dead Overmind says something about how Kerrigan is the key to stopping the Hybrids. Also, "The Mysterious Voice" says in the last Protoss mission that the Zerg was the key to survival. So, I think that it's going to be about breeding a new overmind or something. Or perhaps Kerrigan still has some telepathic bond with the Zerg and can still control them, but she is not evil.
Purely speculation from everyone. While Kerrigan being de-infected is huge, it still doesn't leave much clues on what is going to happen.
EXXXCLUSIVE HEART OF THE SWARM ENDING RIGHT HERE (spoilerz):
Raynor: Last night we said a great many things. You said I was to do the thinking for both of us. Well, I've done a lot of it since then, and it all adds up to one thing: you're getting on that overlord where you belong.
Kerrigan: But, Raynor, no, I... I...
Raynor: Now, you've got to listen to me! You have any idea what you'd have to look forward to if you stayed here? Nine chances out of ten, we'd both wind up in a Hybrid phase prison crystal. Isn't that true, Horner?
Horner: I'm afraid the dark voice would insist.
Kerrigan: You're saying this only to make me go.
Raynor: I'm saying it because it's true. Inside of us, we both know you belong with the Overmind. You're part of his work, the thing that keeps him going. If that Overlord leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.
Kerrigan: But what about us?
Raynor: We'll always have Tarsonis. We didn't have, we, we lost it until you came to Char. We got it back last night.
Kerrigan: When I said I would never leave you.
Raynor: And you never will. But I've got a job to do, too. Where you're going, I can't follow. What you've got to do, I can't be any part of. Kerrigan, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy sector. Some space cycle you'll understand that.
[Kerrigan lowers her head and begins to cry]
Raynor: Now, now...
[Raynor gently places his hand under her chin and raises it so their eyes meet]
Raynor: Here's looking at you kid.
metzen... you genius.. you've done it again *sniff*
" @devosion said:It's a typical cliffhanger... I don't know what else could be said." The single player can have you playing for quite some time. Unfortunately the ending leaves much to be desired. "This... "
That being said, SC2 I thought has a better cliffhanger ending than most games. At least it brings some resolution to the subplot...
