So sayeth Blizzard (via a press release), and those guys don't typically commit to promises they can't make good on. So expect to get destroyed on Battle.net at the end of July by all the people who have been playing the beta for months before then!

1 day before my b'day. I'll be away for a whole month though so it's bad timing. By the time I get back I probably won't be able to win a game. :(

July is a good time for liberty, certainly.

Even though I suck at the beta, I'll be picking this up.  Vs. matches against bots (from what I heard from someone, I'm not sure if that's true) and singleplayer will be awesome.

The winning strats I've seen in protoss games recently usually involve 8 or more warp gates and a warp prisim going around behind the enemy base and destroying econ before anything can be done about it. The best part is that you can probably tech to warping sooner than they can more than a ghost or two out, and I haven't seen too much ghost play.

Alriiiight :D Well I'm glad the game is out in the summer, i can't wait to play, i have been getting good practice on the beta and i haven't gotten a single bit bored of it, the game is awesome. BTW, im a fellow Protoss player too and i gotta get my build order fixed up so i can kick some ass since i have been getting trouble from Terran as well because of the marauder patch.

That means Cataclysm won't be out until Sept at least. Probably more like October. Fail Blizzard, fail.

I don't like Terran either because my douchey-proxy-gateway-zealot rush isn't feasible because those damn Terran can just lift off and stay in the air all day and make my zealots useless. Yes, that means I must actually get GAS to build sentries and stalkers. Shame.

I love how Brad has become this authority on SC2. The beta comes out, he's "yeah I'm gonna mess around, see what's what" and now it's incomprehensible insider jargon. I love it, keep it up.

Hell, it's about time..

The only thing I've found that works against ghosts+mauraders is charging zealots. They charge in fast enough that if the ghost EMP's it hits the ghosts and drains their energy as well.

Everyone has a tough time against Terrans
