    Starhawk

Game » consists of 2 releases. Released May 08, 2012

Lightbox Interactive is developing this spiritual successor to Warhawk for the PS3, incorporating the character-driven RTS gameplay in a style similar to The Outfit.

What do you guys think of it?

It looks like it could be fun, but only the community knows whether it's balanced and interesting.  I'm just wanting to hear some thoughts on the multiplayer.  Is it worth getting into?  Why/why not?  Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I may pick it up the multiplayer on PSN later if the single player is good.

I haven't played in a month or two, but when I was playing the game was very poorly balanced and extremely fun.

I wouldn't expect too much out of the single-player.  It's one, maybe two, step(s) above a training mode for the multiplayer.

I think it's a lot of fun if you know some people who play it too. Being a team-based game that relies heavily on communication, I couldn't get into it because I usually play solo online.

It's the type of game where if you have enough friends, or a really good round, it'll be the most awesome thing you've played in a long while. It can also be a frustrating mess.

I loved the beta, and I've seen the game floating around for really cheap so I might get it when I have the funds. Is there a decent online community? (enough players to get into a match, I mean.)

Definitely. There is still a lot of people playing.

@Turtlebird95: It is really fun, and I love it. I love the idea of building and fighting. There seem to be a ton of players last I got on when the update had occured but most rooms were like really "easy as cake" level.

The single player was interesting, but not it's strong point. It's really fun with it's multiplayer but players can use things in a very cheap factor like Starhawks will nuke bases and destroy all structures. Overall though I really like, the controls on Starhawks (advance controls) are just amazingly fluid and definitely has advantage over the normal controls.
