    Starward Rogue

Game » consists of 2 releases. Released Jan 22, 2016

A roguelite twin stick shooter with bullet hell elements.

    Short summary describing this game.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Described by some as "Binding of Isaac in space," although it also takes a lot of inspiration from the bullet hell genre.

    Difficulty

Unlike most SHMUPs, you aren't "made of glass." Depending on the difficulty you play on, you have a fair bit of health, and possibly some regenerating shields per room.

    Variety

Lacking in the insane variety of games like Binding of Isaac, but nonetheless a huge roster of items and hidden secrets. Doesn't have item combos like BOI, but does have "incredibilities" that are somewhat like the "crowns" in Nuclear Throne.

The starting (at this time) 6 mech choices are, however, highly varied. Rather than just changing up stats, they have strange special abilities like the ability to slow time in a SuperHot style, etc.

The room designs are fewer in number than those used in Isaac, but include more types of obstacles and things to traverse.

    Modding

Modding is described as being a big focus of the developers, and a number of player enemies and rooms have already been integrated into the main game.

    Multiplayer

    Nope.
