Any good RPGs for Steam?
*rimshot*" Black Ops has all kinds of RPGs. If you want something more recent try Homefront or Crysis 2 (though they call them JAWs instead of RPGs... but it's the same basic thing). "
Concerning the question, you've ruled out some of the best ones. I know the Gothic series is on Steam, that's supposed to be pretty good. The Witcher is excellent. If you want a JRPG, there's Last Remnant. I don't know how good that is however.
As others have said, GOG is great. Planescape: Torment, Jagged Alliance(Not exactly an RPG but in the realm), Fallout Series, Baldur's Gate, Might and Magic Series, and Icewind Dale are all good choices.

" I'm playing Freedom Force right now and it's pretty darn good. "Wait, Freedom Force is on Steam? There went my weekend...
Any good sci-fi RPGs out there? Sick of generic fantasy shit, I burned out on post-apocalypse with Fallout 3, and Mass Effect isn't really an RPG anymore. The only one I could find was one called Space Siege, but it looked a bit bad.

"Yeah, I wish there were more non-generic fantasy RPGs :( Anyway, this seems to be all of the other sci-fi RPGs on Steam (I may be missing some):
KOTOR
Mr. Robot
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
Deus Exs
EVE Online
Borderlands
Space Rangers
Star Wolves
If you're looking sci-fi specifically, then I'd say Deus Ex or Freedom Force (and its excellent sequel: Freedom Force VS The Third Reich).
On steam? I'm pretty sure Fallout 1 and 2 are on steam. There's also The Witcher, Drakensang: The Dark Eye, Gothic 1 and 2, and probably some other RPGs of varying quality developed in Northern/Eastern Europe.
Really, if you want some old CRPG goodness then you should just go to GOG. They got all the Infinity Engine games as well as some other RPGs of varying quality developed in Europe. Like Divine Divinity, which is actually kind of great.
