" @HarlequinRiot said:They're not that bad. I've been playing it on the PC, and it's still really fun. The controls are really just two buttons plus the direction keys, so this game could be played with an original NES controller." @SpikeSpiegel: I bought the first on PC last year sometime (5 for it and Beyond Good and Evil, yay!). It's a good game, but the PC port is janky in spots and I seem to remember struggling with the controls in some spots. Though I did play through the whole thing, so it wasn't game breaking stuff at all. Oh and the audio was messep up, but that may have just been the GOG copy. EDIT: Did anyone NOT buy Super Meat Boy? I mean, I've paid that much for indie/arcade games that were nowhere near as fun/well made. "I didn't buy SMB. I was going to, but I heard the keyboard controls are horrendous. "

" Fuck yeah! I was checking up on it thinking it must be time to change soon and managed to hit the page with 5 seconds left of yesterdays deals lol. I have a pretty big question as well, the valve pack, it's down to £25 here in the uk. (79% off.) Should I get it? "It was £14.99 yesterday...
I bought Titan Quest Gold thingie, 2,50 was just too much of a steal.
And I gifted my cousin The Witcher, because he should shut the fuck up and play it.

Finally picked up Puzzle Quest. Never played one before and you can't beat $1.50. On a different note, looks like my gambit to hold off on purchasing the Witcher paid off. It hit $6.75ish earlier this year but I said NAY and held off until now.
Suck it $1.75.

" So far I have purchased The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom for $0.50 and The Witcher Enhanced Edition for $5.00. I just hope that sometime over the sale they have deals on Trine, Torchlight, KOTOR, and Zeno Clash. "If those do not go on sale I will be shocked because they are ALWAYS on sale EVERY time they have a sale.
Just out of interest, has anyone played Twin Sector? I just noticed it in the Indie Future pack and it seems like it could be interesting. However, the metascore is 49 =/
noo... i missed meat boy for $3.. instead its $7.50. is it possible it will go back down??
also the witcher enhanced for $5! sold!
" @shadows_kill: I don't think so. A game appearing in 2 different daily sales seems illogical and unlikely. "Unless they do a recap of the best sales on the final day...
these indy packs for 4.49euros are really tasty too by the way. I already got the one with Nyx Quest in it, but this Indy Fright pack is really tempting me.
4.49 for zombie driver and burn zombie burn alone seems good, but I have no idea what The Void and the Path are
Scourge Project LOOKS great in pictures, prob just a mediocre third person shooter tho. Still, 4.49 for all that? Any info on these games you guys can share to make me take the plunge?
so wait til maybe a last day sale or snag it now for half off?" @Winternet said:

EDIT: also this is only my 2nd steam purchase so i havent seen all what they do..
" @Afroman269 said:If you don't plan to play co-op, RE5 is not worth anything, really." im eyeballing RE 5... "You can get the Gold Edition for PS3 or 360 for dirt cheap now, it's not worth it. "
" @KaosAngel said:sad thing is thing is, I already have the 360 version of RE 5 with all the content. I'm just tempted to get the PC version. I'm thinking this or ME 2. (Also I already have ME 2 for 360)" @Afroman269 said:If you don't plan to play co-op, RE5 is not worth anything, really. "" im eyeballing RE 5... Grabbed The Witcher for $5.
My strategy every year is to view the daily deals everyday and purchase only those deals accordingly (i.e. buy only the games I don't have and really want at the "Whattheholyshitbuybuybuy" price). Never buy anything in a pack until the end of the sale so you don't get burned on a reduced price. You have been warned!
