I'll admit that it is a little exciting every time the midweek or weekend deal rolls in, if only to see if its something you've been waiting for, and it seems we can expect that every day now. I think this is awesome, but i like to waste money. One assumes that big summer and holiday sales will continue tho

I saw that and I wept with both joy and sorrow....and then I realized I probably own most of the Steam catalog. I try to avoid thinking about that.

Based on my experience with impulse daily sales i imagine that these sales will take the excitement out of sales, and make me less likely to do impulse purchases.

Now we wait until they start with the hourly sales.

I like the fact of Daily Deals but the actual placement of where they show is horrible.

I'm definitely in the camp that owns just about every game on Steam that I'm interested in, but this still excites me! The future awaits!

Well, fuck. But there's hope for me. I'm not even running Windows right now, so I'm not going to be checking Steam all the time. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04. From a Live CD. On a computer with no hard drive attached.
