Yo, it's here for this year! Those lovely lads and lasses at Valve Corporation have dropped their yearly Summer Sale. As to why you and me are in this funky thread? Well, the plan is that I'm gonna do a whole heap of work for you, and make it even easier for yous guys to spend that damn money! I'll be keeping a list (and checking it thrice) of all the stuff that goes down around the ole' Summer campfire this year, taking note of prices, expiration dates and suchlike; so you can hopefully see when might be the best time to jump on that latest deal. I'll be adding sexy graphs and awesome guides and harrowing images and extra links and shit, to try and help you narrow down when and where the best place to pick up a new game is. For example, I'll try and run comparisons against Amazon and GOG to see if Steam really is the best deal for you. Just bear with me for a few hours whilst I gather up that delicous information, and spit it up all over your internet screens. I will endeavour to get both UK and US prices, deal variations and time zones displayed on here too.

Tip Top Tony Tips of 2012
1) Use Ctrl+F. I use the same words in my subheadings and game titles as Steam does (Ctrl+F Today's Deals = will take you to...TODAY'S DEALS, just as if you were browsing the Steam Store), type that shit in and save yourself from scrolling like a silly bastard.
2) Even if a deal is FINISHED as part of a section below (for example, the short term offers that occur in the Flash Sales), you can still click that link to go to the current store page, where you will probably find it cheaper than the normal price anyway. EVEN IF YOU DO, try and hold off until the last date that it's available until because it's possible that the game could go back down to an even cheaper price before then, as part of another deal!
3) Anyone can make use of the American version of the Amazon Digital Games store, where you will find more stuff at a better price. Always check to see if you get a Steam key (use dat Ctrl+F on the product page) with your purchase, if that matters to you. Amazon.com currently has discounts on cool video games for all of July.
4) "Hey, Tone-dawg, my Community Choice vote ain't going through for shit! What's the dealio?" Well, you see, lots of people all hammering the same button all around the world severely curtails the ability of Steam's servers to behave as nicely as they normally do. Give it a little while and you'll probably be good to go soon enough, you do have seven hours to vote anyway, so just, you know...don't go to sleep or something.
