Stranger is the protagonist of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. He is a bounty hunter residing in the western region of the continent of Mudos on Oddworld; during the course of the game, Stranger plies his trade in and around the Mongo River Valley area. His primary motivation as a bounty hunter is to earn cash for a mysterious operation necessary to ensure his survival.
Stranger's skill as a bounty hunter is unmistakable; he captures most of his targets with relative ease and can even dispatch lower-ranking Outlaw bosses with moderate effort. His primary weapon is a crossbow used to fire an eclectic assortment of "Live Ammo": various smaller species of living ammunition used in western Mudos.
Stranger is able to lope on four limbs and can gain enough momentum to crash through walls or into his enemies. He is also very resistant to physical harm and possesses the ability to "shake off" any damage he receives in the form of regenerating health.
