    I think you are little jittery with your inputs, or you are experiencing some lag.... its costing you either way, cuz the screen isnt emulating your buttins quickly enough.

    Our matches are usualy pretty bad on the imput lag side of things unfortunantly. He's still great fun to play, though.
     
    The problem I'm having with Guile is that I'm playing 90% of my matches now as Rose so when I go to play Guile I can't play him at all. That match there is a time when I'd taken a few days away from him and only played Rose and I couldn't even remember what I was doing in that time. It's terrible watching that clip seeing how many random unsafe flashkicks and things are in there.

    Video is still processing, but is watchable. Round 2 was the greatest round in the history of SFIV. We now know how Blackhawkxdown wins.

    Alright, last one from last night.
     
    If you guys don't know, B0KKIN is a fucking beast. One mistake, you are dead. 2nd round is amazing on his part. This is part of the reason I cut the audio...I played like butthole and was basically beating myself. Fucking B0KKIN.

    Hey your not as bad as you make out, If you just stayed about midscreen with a little more offence, you'd be real good. The problem with staying at the very back of the screen is you'll soon be in the corner.

    @lordofultima: Hedgehog bitched at me for the same thing. You mean when I am doing blockstrings right? If you gave a shit enough to slow mo the vid the button presses would synch with the movements a bit better. I would never be able to finish a combo if I were mashing, sure the first couple hits in a string will cancel fine, but the final jab xx srk would never hit if I was mashing.There is a slight delay in the audio pick up. Besides, triple tapping is a legitimate strategy. 
     
    If you mean when I am getting attacked, that is me pressing downback throw in synch with the block string. Don't really need to do that against Vega though.

    I just looked at my original .avi of that fight is slow ass motion, and yeah, I do hit jab an extra time. When I am frustrated or tired, I hit jab an extra 6 times. As long as I hit my combos, I don't care.

    @Stang: No big deal, I was just surprised the combos linked when it just sounded like you hitting jab 6 times. Whatever works man, I mash teleport all the time, we all do a little mashy here and there. Double/triple tapping would be quicker and still have distinctive intervals between the jabs, just a tad slower than the sound of a plink/kara throw.

After you mentioned it, I went and looked at a vid of me doing random combos in training mode....not once was I hitting extra inputs. I am sure this is a big factor in why I miss my crouching jab - crouching forward link a lot. There is something about online that just makes you...well....mash a bit.
     
    I don't mind that sort of mashing though, as it only hurts the person trying to do their links. DP/ultra mashing during a block string on the other hand........

    I made a stupid mistake and had my SFIV data saved to the internal memory of my last Arcade. It died, and so with it went all my SFIV stuff.
