I feel bad for leaving you guys for other games.

Hoping to re-join the community with SSFIV.  Hell, who knows, MW2 is getting pretty stale.  Maybe I'll dust off the olde fightpad before year's end.

I agree completely. We are like a dysfunctional family, but I love it. There is a lot of shit talking, but we know it is all love. This is the only website I post on, who needs anything else when you got efriends like this.

I have greatly considered picking up SSFIV when it comes out, but I fear the barrier of entry may be too high for my taste.

I very much wish I was good enough to even pick up a controller and play SF4 but, sadly, I am not. I respect the multitudes of you who dominate, though. Enjoy your amazing sub-forum family thing you've got going here. I am envious.

I'd get into the "scene" here but I don't really like any of the characters in SFIV(except Dan and Abel & Rufus are okay) enough to play the game too much/with people. Once Super comes out and if it has all three of the rumored 3S characters as well as having Juri(she seems to play like Kim Dong Hwan, who is one of my fav. fighting game characters) I'll be totally into it. But right now I'll just play the game occasionally to be familiar with it enough.

I concur. However, I am starting to miss Gambit. :(

Hella moving man. I love Street Fighter IV it was one of the best games this year and I reckon it'll be one of the best games of the next few years aswell. Sounds like a great thing's going on the Street Fighter IV boards, it's good to see that fighting games are truly making a comeback not only in the minds of fans but in their hearts too.

I enjoy the GB forums in general and have never really thought of this as a separate community-within-a-community since we all seem to post all over the place. But I guess we are just one big happy yet dysfunctional family.
 
SFIV is a pretty fun game, even if Stang mashes ex shoryukens, Jeff throws headsets around, and Ajay still doesn't have a 360.

I haven't played SFIV for 13 weeks, but in a week i'll be 'back', and worse than ever.

Sure thing boss. I have got to clean the pig pen I call my home, then I am going to get my lazy ass to the gym. After that, you can electrocute and Blanka ball the hell out of me.

My college has got a student room with some pool tables, a ping pong table, a few sofas and a 40inch HD TV and a PS3. The problem is all the games suck. I was actualy thinking of buying a cheap copy of SFIV for PS3 just so I could play it at college and whoop on fools who never play games.

I would much prefer it if we had an actual fighting game union of some sort. I'm tired of members who have nothing positive in the commentary they contribute, clearly attempting to derail  threads. It's the big one negative of having these threads pop up on general discussion.
