I think I'll just add everyone today. I've plateaued so much that I'm struggling to get anywhere at the moment. Those that fight me, prepare to have destruction laid upon you!

A merry HypeMas for us all. I should be getting back online regularly again now that holiday stuff has passed. Hope I wasn't too out of practice to at least make it through the first round. Come on instinctual press some buttons technique, make me like not last. 

I'm almost absolutely sure my gf got me the TE stick for xmas. If thats the case (then not only am I majorly lucky, but) when it comes to the tournament I'm going to to be stumbling all over the screen trying to hk you into oblivion. Might forfeit learning how to use it until after me thinks.

I am totally against the idea of someone getting a freeride when the alternative is a possible sub in especially for the first round. I elect SquirtleSquad and his Saikyo Powers of doom to take his place.   "

Yup, that's fine with me. InfiniteState was the first person after all the spaces have been filled, so PM'ing him just depends on what days PantyShot is free. If you only have a few days I'd suggest trying to get in contact with Alpha once more, and if he doesn't respond quickly, let me know here and I'll switch up the brackets.

I would second that. Replacements should probably be taken in order of whoever missed out 1st though (i.e posted 1st when the tourney was full) "

Sorry for taking so long to show up guys... i was kinda busy with this job thing, but anyway. i was so happy to get the message from pantyshot.. i thought i wasn't gonna be qualified. Anyway it was a good fight, it came down to the final round and everything. Again, I'm sorry and i'll be ready for the next one.

Edit: After a hiccupp disconnect during the first match, I won it 2 - 0. Good games; we both made a few mistakes though. If you'd have landed you're ultra after the ex tiger uppercut the round would have been yours.

Anyone have any tips on kara throws (specifically Goukens)? I tried incorporating them into my game more, but it honestly pushes him about 1/4 character distance. Useful for occasionally catching them out, but not much more. Totally need a teleport.

I am pulling out of the tourney. This probably entails an explanation so here goes. Looking back on this winter break, I probably could have played alot more SF4 and gotten better in the process. I even had my friends over and we played over 100 rounds in total. But I guess for me the thing with any game I play, when it comes to that point where it's like I have to set aside and arrange time to play a game, it isn't as much fun. Don't get me wrong, I DO want to play SF4 and get better at it, I realize I've barely scratched the surface, but I want to do it at my own pace. 
 
So just a heads up, I'm gonna be adding the people who signed up for this tournament as friends. Also I only log onto PSN to play SF4, so if you see me online you can send me a fight request and i'll join in tops 1 minute (maybe if i'm still in a round). So we can play like first to ten or something, that would be cool.

Just played Keeng and managed to scrape by him 2 -1. Really close games and good fun!
