I was really looking forward to this game coming out. Unfortunately it seems to have been plagued by dev issues and sounds like it was pushed out the door a little too early. I think a QL by Dave and Drew would give a good indication of what the "final" product is like.

SH1 was an excellent game (QL:Throwback) and paved the way for castle building games. There were several in between that didn't quite hit the mark, but 3 was SUPPOSED to be a return to more of a SH1 type of game. Just wondering if they hit the mark or not...(technical issues aside)

EDIT: I re-watched this weeks I Love Monday's and indeed the is a QL coming. I totally don't remember seeing it the first time...random blackout? Thanks Marz.

they already mentioned in I Love Mondays that Drew couldn't wait to show us some Stronghold 3 in a quicklook... or something like that.

Hell fucking sure that there's gonna be a Stronghold 3 QL, and I can't wait for it.

Unfortunately, it seems Stronghold 3 sucks, at least according to reviews. Too bad, i wanted it to be a good game.

@TheDudeOfGaming Me too. I was really looking forward to this version (I even passed the time filling out the wiki haha), but I'm not impressed. I think they could fix most complaints by simply adding a difficulty setting. It is far too hard without being satisfying. Dark Souls is hard, but rewarding. Stronghold 3 is broken hard.

Yeah, I bet in 6 months it will be a decent game. FireFly has been pretty vocal about how they are wanting to fix everyhting and make it the best game it can be...(which might not end up being all that great.)

When it drops to like $15 for the holiday steam sale, I might bite...

Too bad they didn't make "the best game it can be" before releasing it and asking people to pay good money for a broken game. PC gamers are used to it though :(
