Overview
Summer Gems is a 3D adventure game that has the player collect interesting objects on the beach and write letters to their friend. It follows this pair of friends over several days, the protagonist being a native to the game's Mediterranean town setting that the other character is visiting for their summer vacation. The player can select which beach object they want to use to commemorate the day and the tone of the letter they write afterwards, with a few options available for each.
The game is presently exclusive to the Itch.io platform and was included in the World Land Trust Bundle for the charity of the same name owing to its environmentalist themes.
