    Overview

    Summon Night 5 is the fifth entry in the long running SRPG franchise, Summon Night. Previously all the entries in the Summon Night series had been developed by Flight-Plan but due to the company's closing in 2010 the fifth title was created by Felistella, a studio founded by former Flight-Plan employees. Summon Night 5 was originally published by Banpresto in 2013 for the PlayStation Portable and Bandai Namco later re-released the game as a "PSP the Best" title in 2014. Gaijinworks localized Summon Night 5 and released it as a digital title on December 15, 2015 with a limited run of physical copies that were only available through pre-orders on Gaijinworks' website. This marked the first time a mainline entry in the Summon Night franchise was released outside of Japan.
