Sumo Digital is a Sheffield-based independent studio. Many of their earlier titles were developed for Sega (Company) including Outrun (Franchise) and Virtua Tennis (Franchise), as well as doing development on mascot spin-off titles such as Sonic andamp;amp;amp; Sega All-Stars Racing and Sega Superstars Tennis (Game). The studio was also hired by the BBC to create 4 adventure games based on the Doctor Who franchise. In April 2012, they announced Sonic andamp;amp;amp; All-Stars Racing Transformed, a sequel to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
